WACO UEC NC12456

Waco NC12456 landed at Tucson either April 21 or 22, 1932 flown by Les Bowman. Based in Los Angeles, CA he was westbound from El Paso, TX to Los Angeles. He was in a flight of two. The other airplane, Waco UEC NC12449, was flown by his wife, Martie Bowman. An image of 12456, Les and Martie is available at Les' link.

There is another image of this airplane (albeit in the background) on page 227 of Juptner's vol. 5 (REFERENCES). NC12456 carried S/N 3622 and it was manufactured during 1932. At the time of landing it was owned as a demonstrator by Hargrove Air Service, Alameda, CA.
