NC5035 is a model BW Cessna, S/N 121. It landed once at Tucson, Tuesday September 11, 1928. It was flown by Ed Schultz. He carried a single passenger, R.W. Yahner. Based in Pittsburg, KS, they were westbound from El Paso, TX to Yuma, AZ.

Schultz and Yahner were competing in the 1928 National Air Races cross-country event named "On to Los Angeles." Below, courtesy of the San Diego Aerospace Museum (SDAM), is a photograph of their airplane. The exact date and location are unknown.
